Floating this stretch of the Upper Truckee River is about a smooth a ride as one can find! The river weaves through the forest under tall pine trees, flowing with emerald waters, beside tall grasses. The shore is never far away and any “rapids” amount to little more than riffles. This float places you peacefully in the river and meanders through forests and meadows before concluding near Lake Tahoe’s shoreline. Self guided river float includes Tube Rental, Lifejacket, and Shuttle Service.
